Almost a Big Brother!

Emily, Ryan and I spent a day together last week. We went to the park and rode on the swings,
took a spin on the old-timey merry go round, rocked out on the rocking bunny, and went down the slide!
We had a great time. This little guy really takes in life. Full-tilt, happy and excited to be alive.
It is so fun to watch him grow.

Olive my fingers are black!

Was going through photos this afternoon and found this classic! Had to blog it!
(Not to worry-The bump on the head looked worse than it was)
So the story goes like this:

We were camping with my granparents when I was a real little girl. Mom opened the can of olives, and said...

Now, dont you girls eat all the olives...

We listened to my mom carefully...

a few minutes later the following was overheard as the correct number of olives (5) was pressed onto each grimy little finger...

theres one for mommy, one for daddy one for granpa, one for grandma and one for uncle john!

Nope, we had not eaten all the olives, we had saved one for each of the adults!
