Delaney was excited to meet her new baby sister and even offered her prized "white beb beb" (blanket) when she started to fuss! What a gift of generosity and love!

Katie made it look so easy! 5 minutes from the time the nurse told her to push, Reese arrived! Amazing and Beautiful

Gramps was so excited to come to the hospital and see his new grandbaby that he ended up at the hospital with two different black dress shoes! I'm tellin' you, the guy was a (wonderful) mess when I was having babies! Having grandbabies brings back all those wonderful memories for us!

The Day was Lovely: the Bride was Radiant the Groom Dashing

Camping @ Carpinteria State Beach

Carp was gorgeous! No costal layer at all, and warm, warm water.
We were even lucky enough to get there on the night of a "Grunion Run"
Even when we lived in Carp, I never got out of the house at that outrageous
hour to search for Grunion, so I was excited to give it a try.
Despite my searching the beach for those little fishes doing their interesting
mating routine on the beach, at 3:15 am and again at 4:00am, I saw nothing!
For all I know, they are related to Snipes, and I went on a snipe hunt at the beach!
Yep, I am pretty certian they are snipes!


Emily and Ryan and Brent joined us for the Camping Adventure. In fact, it was Emily's idea, and such a good idea it was. We had a fab time.

What a Week!

Last Week was quite the whirlwind. On Saturday Aug 1 we flew to LA and spent a few days with
Dave's mom. We went to the beach in Laguna, met Janeese and Brent for Dinner at GiGi's house, and had a great time in gorgeous weather. Even the water at the beach was warm enough to swim in!
